I'm almost done with Alex's top wohoo, i didn't do the ruffle correctly though oops, i realized after i had the side ones on they should have went on last ohwell.

i'll post pictures when i'm done.

Christmas Sewing

I finally managed to get Alex's xmas top cut out and Ryker is getting a matching tie.
Now to hopefully sew them tonight. I'll post pictures when i get done.

I managed to get a pullover sweatshirt from kwik sew toddler and child trace & cut out for both kids .. now to cut into the sweatshirt fabric and hope i have enough for both.

I plan to use a cute free christmas font i got on sewforum on the sweatshirts and a cute embroidery also on it.

I got the cover done for halloween to cover the nanas jetpack as part of Ryker's halloween costume. Next i need to trace out and cut out sweatshirts for both kids since i have a bunch of sweatshirt fleece left.I then also want to make a knitting needle roll.

Knitting Rambling & Some Sewing Also

I'm about to do a gauge swatch for some LTK Stripey Slippers for Ryker.

I bought a kit on etsy to try out spinning roving into yarn.

I got a knitting needle roll cut out need to go through the ribbon i have and find a good tie for it.

I also want to find a cut Apple embroider and embroider on the cover fabric since it's the apple cord fabric.

Thinking Of Frogging .....

Diaper Sewing......

Well i just got a email from Wazoodle saying they didn't have celery instock like it showed on their site. so i was refunded some $$.
They also said my order shipped on Friday.

I can't wait to get it so i can start sewing diapers.

I just ordered the FattyCake Diaper pattern. I also ordered 8yds of PUL total in 2 colors Celery & Turquoise and 4yds of organic cotton Fleece, 4yds of microfleece in celery green, 1 10yd bag of 1/4 lastin elastic,1 50yd bag of 1/2 lastin elastic.

I think i'm gonna tell Dustin tonight i want to just buy the coverstich machine and i'll just keep dreaming about the embrodiery machine a while longer.

Ryker's Birthday Outfit with pictures......

Ryker's birthday outfit.. I had to chop the legs in some since when i tried them on they looked like pants LOL. I didn't get the instructions for the collar and gave up and just did binding with knit fabric and i messed up on the snaps near the bottom ooops. He'll have a white t-shirt on under that shirt though.

Tracing Done.....

Yippie i got the tracing done for a dress for Alex. I also got it cut out and the patterns for the shirt and shorts for Ryker's birthday cut out just need to cut into the fabric and get it sewn up.

More Sewing Done.....

I'm still not brave enough to upload pictures to this computer yet.

I got a t-shirt and shorts cut out in a dinasour knit fabric earlier while Ryker was naping.

I need to cut out some more t-shirt tank tops for the summer, need to cut into the decor 100% cotton fabric to make the kids some shorts and maybe get brave and try and make myself some capri's.

I've gotten a few things done but wont post pictures til we have a new computer since i don't want to upload pictures then delete them from the camera to have the computer crash and be missing pictures.

I just got 2 pairs each of shorts in two different fabrics cut out for Alex and Ryker. I just need to eventually cut out some t-shirts to match the shirts.

Still working on t-shirts

Oh yeah stupid mistake i made.. never have 2 different sizes out at the same time i ment have to cut 2 shirts in 3T and 1 in 2T ended up cutting 2 in 3T so i ended up just saving myself the hassle and cut 1 more in 3T.


I'm working on the neckline binding for the 10shirts for Alex and Kimberly 5 shirts each. Then need to sew together the 6 shirts for Ryker,Logan,Douglas 2 shirts each and then get the neckline done on those also.

I've serger together like 3 t-shirts for Alexandria today. I might try lettace edge on the arms and hem,  first i need to try it on a scrap fabric.
